There are many technical job positions in rig field . some of them is a technical job but its cannot study from any university or institute , you can only study and experience from rig , this is the main thing in rig job positions.

1 . Roustabout:
This is a trainee job position in rig job field . in one way call as “apprentice or helper “. This job position no need basic qualification . but its an international job field , so basically need English communication , read and write capability .
    Basic salary is around 700$ with accommadation , food , laundry service , up & down flight ticket .

Assist all jobs related to  oil well drilling.Assist chief electrician for electrical works.
assist mechanic for mechanical works.
keep the drilling area in good working order.  cleaning, scraping and painting the deck, equipment and work areas.
moving supplies and equipment to the work site.
Operate lifting gear and winches to load and unload equipment to rig floor
 helping to repair pumping equipment. mixing the 'drilling mud' to lubricate the drill bit
Ensure all equipments are proper secured and safely transported in the storage areas. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures,including wearing required personal safety equipment.
